  • Power Yoga:
using a playful fusion of Power Vinyasa Yoga (flowing), Core Strength Yoga (CSV) and occasionally Chinese Meridian Activation. The class is athletic, vigorous, dynamic, flowing and gives you the tools to focus, destress and transform. Unfortunately, (due to low demand) there is no beginner class, however if you are reasonably fit and mobile you may come and join in and I will advise you how to modify poses during the class.

  •  Yin Yoga: (Privates & Workshops only)
This is a slower paced style of yoga with mostly floor poses held for longer periods of time (typically 2 - 5 minutes). This class is meditative in nature, and aimed at finding and sustaining stillness.

The yin (feminine energy) poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. They are also designed to improve the flow of qi/prana (energy) to run through the meridians (channels) of the body, as used in Chinese Medicine. Also includes: pranayama (breathwork), mindfulness techniques and guided meditation.
Equipment: BYO bolster and blanket. Some yoga blocks and straps provided.

  • Mat Pilates:
Pilates Mat classes are a full body workout that create long, lean muscles. Pilates Mat is performed on a mat on the floor and achieves results by using gravity and your body’s own resistance — and sometimes small props, such as a ring, balls or weights. Pilates Mat will improve your flexibility, posture, strength (particularly core), and balance.

  • Reformer Pilates: (Premium Membership only)
reformer Pilates combines the traditional principals and movements of mat Pilates with a Reformer machine. This machine contains a foot bar, carriage, pulleys, and five springs of varying tension that can be adjusted to suit your fitness level or needs.

This class may also includes props, like dumbbells and a Pilates ring to elevate your workout.

  • Barre: (not on timetable at present).
combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. The class may incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, tendus & releve's with isometric holds, slight pulsing, alongside pilates abdominal exercises, and yoga stretching. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements and helps with posture, flexibility, balance and fitness. Some classes may also use light hand-held weights, resistance bands, a pilates ball, yoga block/s or a yoga strap.
